FUN IN THE SUN

School for Little Children offers a 6 week summer program for children exiting our 2’s program through five-years-old with preschool experience.

BEACH SITE - for children exiting a Threes or Fours class

Children meet at Burnham Park (Dempster Street and the lakefront) and Lee Street Beach. The program includes daily beach time, outdoor activities, crafts, songs and stories, and opportunities to renew old friendships and create new ones. In case of inclement weather, the program is held indoors at School for Little Children with appropriate indoor activities. Groups meet three or four days per week, from 9:30 – 12:00 noon.

ON SITE - children must have prior preschool experience

Children participate in art projects, songs and stories, creative play, and building projects in SLC classrooms. There is also daily outdoor water play and activities at Raymond Park, located on the north side of the church building. Groups meet two or three days per week, from 9:15 – 11:45 AM.
