| Registration takes place
during the months of January and February for all interested
families. Our policy in placing children is to provide an
environment that encourages the development of new relationships
with adults and other children. We will consider appropriate
chronological and developmental age plus boy/girl ratio.
Based on our knowledge of your child and the school, we
will place your child where we feel he or she will best
grow and learn.
Priority families (School for Little Children families and First Presbyterian Church families) must return the completed
application and fee to the SLC office by February 1st,
to participate in priority registration. Every effort will
be made to place priority families in their first choice
class. However, some priority children may not receive their
first choice. If a second-option placement is not possible
for your child, we request that a letter of explanation
accompany your application.
Applications for the non-priority registration are
due February 12th.
If classes are over-enrolled, a lottery will be used to
determine placement. Notification of placement in the school
will be made by mail by February 19th.
You are welcome to visit the school during the months of
January and February. Please call to arrange a time. We
would be happy to respond to any questions you may have
concerning your child's placement. Thank you for your interest

A $100.00 application fee is required to register your
child. If you are registering more than one child only one
application fee is required.
Applications for scholarships are available upon request.
Responses to scholarship inquiries will be returned by April
30. All paperwork will be kept confidential.
Waiting lists are maintained for applicants who are not
placed in any class and for those placed in their second
choice class. Application fee checks will be returned if
placement is not possible. Students placed in the school
have the first option to switch when openings occur. Please
be patient if you are on a waiting list. Many class changes
occur between March and September. |
