We are a NAEYC-accredited, part-time preschool located in the heart of downtown Evanston. For more than 75 years, SLC has provided a high-quality, play-based education for young children ages 2-5.
Time for Tykes
Did you know that SLC has a parent-tot class? Each class includes music, movement, fine and gross motor skill development, a snack and story time. Plenty of laughs and lots of time to bond with your little one will also be included. This is a great way to prepare your child for a drop-off program the following year!
SLC is excited to announce our 2s/3s multi-age program that is open to older 2s (those who will turn 3 by December 31st, 2010) and all three-year-olds. This transitional program is an ideal way to introduce your child to preschool in a quiet, afternoon setting with low teacher-child ratio. Our facilities include a full-size gymnasium, bike room, and large parking lot for convenient pick-ups and drop-offs. For more information, please contact Hilary Holder.
Although the registration deadline for the 2010/2011 school year has passed, we still have openings in our new Afternoon 2s/3s multiage class, as well as our 5-day 4s classes.
Please call (847) 864-3889 for more information or if you would like to take a tour of our school.
Go to eScrip.com first and shop through their on-line mall at all your favorite merchants like Amazon.com. SLC will earn a percentage of whatever you spend.
75th Anniversary Appeal
As a not for profit educational institution, School for Little Children depends on the generosity of our families and friends to help cover the difference between tuition income and operating costs. Our Appeal dollars are being used to fund scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to attend School for Little Children and to continue improving our curriculum. Remember you can double your contribution if your employer offers a matching gift program! Please consider making a donation today.
